A Message From Our Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to start the 2023–2024 school year! It is our primary goal to provide a safe, nurturing, supportive, and culturally responsive learning environment for all to reach their full potential. Our mission is to empower our children to have a strong cultural identity to conquer challenges and contribute to their communities in their journey of life. It is our vision that all our children will be given the foundational skills to become college and career ready and embrace their Himdag.

Our district’s academic goal is 80% of the students will score 70% mastery in each major cluster. To be able to accomplish this goal, we need your support in ensuring your child(ren) are in school every day and on time. Our district-wide attendance goal is to have 90% or above.

At Indian Oasis Primary School we have fostered a love of reading and strive to ensure that all students are reading at grade level. We cannot do it alone. We need your help to support your child(ren) with reading. Please read with and/or to your child for 10 to 15 minutes daily to increase their reading and comprehension skills. We look forward in continuing positive partnerships with all parents/guardians, students, and community members.
